Complex Installation. Architects and designers create spaces and solutions that provide joy, freedom and good working conditions. Good design may look simple, but can be complicated to assemble. Therefore, Rentec has found skilled employees who easily get an overview, understand detailed drawings, and quickly see solutions to challenging tasks. BIM-reader competence is a essential. Our employees also see the necessity of upgrading their knowledge when it comes to new materials and work tasks. This proved to be necessary on the Oslo Pavilions — the wooden skeletons were to be covered with a skin of five layers of plaster, and then sanded until soft feminine shapes emerged, just as the architect wanted.

The scientists at The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Campus Ås) expected a good work environment when they moved into their new building. A large crew from Rentec was ready and assembled more than 3 km of laboratory benches at the new university. New materials require new solutions. So when 20 meter long fabric panels are to be lifted up to the ceiling of the National Museum of Art – Architecture and Design, new systems had to be developed for this purpose. This has proved to be useful, because new equipment had to be installed behind the panels.
