About us. Rentec Ingeniørfirma AS is a Norwegian company that started in Bergen in 1994. Handling ‘Clean-Dry-Building’ (CDB) on construction sites has been our core business for a long time. In 2006, we finished the work with the CDB-responsibility at the New Opera House in Oslo, followed by the same task at the New Concert Hall in Stavanger. In the recent years, we have taken a step up and been able to take full responsibility for the Rigging & Operation at some of Norway’s largest construction sites. This is the reason why we last summer changed our identity to: Rentec Construction Assistance. A name which in a good way defines the work we do. We are now finished the work as the Rigging & Operation contractor for Ø.M. Fjeld on the expansion of the Non-Schengen area (UNSØ) at Oslo Airport. New University of Life Sciences at Campus Ås, which is handed over in 2021. The new National Museum (PNN) opened in June 2022. We was there and taking care of the locations to the end. Some of our skilled craftsmen have built up good expertise in complex installation work. As a result, we have gained strong teams with great professional integrity. We master complex installation work such as the facade of the new Munch! and the light hall at the new National Museum. We also installed 3 km of laboratory equipment at the new veterinary institute at Campus Ås (NMBU). Right now we are installing hospital and laboratory equipment for the supplier Zystm on Norway’s largest construction site, the new hospital in Stavanger. (SUS).

Rentec Construction Assistance has a crew of 80 employees with defined competence. This means that we have also had the opportunity over time to develop two sectors with special skills: facade work and complex installation.

Everyone who works at Rentec has a permanent residential address in Norway. Everyone has an HSE card, and many have also authorized safety cards for work in the red safety zone. Everyone understands English and several also communicate in Norwegian. A proportion of women of 35 per cent contributes to a complex work environment in a male-dominated profession. We put together our own teams with dedicated team leaders and bases that are selected for the various work tasks. Although the work will be very varied, we will find flexible solutions. There will be a need to show good discernment when situations of conflicting interests arise.
