Complex Installation. Architects and designers create spaces and solutions that provide joy, freedom and good working conditions. Good design may look simple, but can be complicated to assemble. Therefore, Rentec has found skilled employees who easily get an overview, understand detailed drawings, and quickly see solutions to challenging tasks. They see the need to upgrade when new technology is introduced. This proved to be necessary during the construction of the Oslo pavilions at Oslo Airport. The wooden skeletons were assembled before they were covered with a ‘skin’ of five layers of plaster, and then ground down to soft organic shapes – exactly as the architect wanted.

The scientists at The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Campus Ås) expect a good working environment when they move into the new buildings. Rentec has installed and prepared more than 3 km of laboratory benches at the new university. New materials require new solutions. So when 20 meter long fabric panels are to be lifted up and down from the roof of the new National Museum (PNN), new lifting systems had to be developed for precisely this purpose.
